Paul Meyer is the Managing Partner for the Greater Los Angeles region for TechCXO, a management consulting company focused on providing seasoned technology executive support on a part-time or fractional basis for early stage technology companies. For the past six years, he has run a successful CFO consulting practice, focused on early stage to mid-market technology companies in the greater Santa Barbara and Ventura County areas. Most recently, he has been the CFO of Cynvenio Biosystems, Inc., an early stage medical device company. He was also General Manager of their plastic consumables manufacturing business, BioMolded Products LLC. During much of his career, Paul was with Interlink Electronics [NASDAQ:LINK] a developer of remote control technologies for business and home applications, serving for sixteen years as CFO and Executive Vice President; taking the company from a startup to an IPO. Paul served as a CPA with Price Waterhouse.
He is the CFO-In-Residence and serves on the Technical Advisory Board for the Ventura Ventures Technology Center (V2TC), a technology incubator in downtown Ventura, and is the founder and Chairman of the Tech Industry Roundtable of Venture County, housed at the V2TC. He is an Advisory Board member for the Ventura BioCenter, life science incubator, and is founder and chairman of the Business of Life Science Monthly Speaker Series at the BioCenter. He is a member of the Tech Coast Angels and is Vice President of the Santa Barbara chapter. He is also a Board Member for the Business & Technology Partnership of California State University at Channel Islands (CSUCI). He is Secretary and Board Member for the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Central Coast. Previously, he chaired the CFO Roundtable for the BioScience Alliance, a Life Science industry trade group. In recent years, he was the Chairman of the Los Angeles chapter of TechAmerica, the largest high tech trade association in the US; establishing a CFO Roundtable for them as well. Additionally in the mid-90’s, he served as Chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Central Coast. Paul received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
